I had the chance to meet Ettore 1 year ago in my little village. He was working with RAI TV here filming a Japanese Opera, of all things.
He invited me to be with him while he worked. We spent a few days together here. Later in the summer he showed up in Colorado to get a little cowboy action and see a small part of the USA for the 1st time. We had so much fun that at the end of his trip, I ended up in the triage unit sick. My neighbor had to drive him to the airport.
As the months past he stayed in frequent contact endlessly inviting me to come down to NAPOLI! A place where I had avoided for my 15 years of seeing Italy.
This past Easter holiday, Nia and I did just that. I had a chance to see where my grandfather was born in Caserta. Even though my family has no ties there any more, I did find a new family, Ettore's. His parents where so kind and giving. They are really quality people.
So this is where Ettore and I will pursue our dream together.... not as a Cougar and Cougar cub but as partners in art and movies.
He with his movie making ability and dream and me with my life's art and story to be told.
